ἀτάκτως τὰς ἐπιστολὰς καὶ πεφυρμένως γράφων | |
οὕτω δοξάζων ἐν τῷ νῷ ποιῶν ὄφελος μέγα | |
τοῖς ἀμαθέσιν ὥσπερ φῇς ἄνθρώποις νῦν οὖσι | |
πλέον γὰρ βαρβαρώτεροι τυγχάνουσι καὶ ὄνων | |
εἰ παραβαίνω τὸ λοιπὸν τὸν νόμον ὅν σὺ γράφεις, | |
κατ’ αἶσαν καὶ τὸ δίκαιον αἰτῶ λαβεῖν συγγνώμην | |
καὶ τῷ ἐρῶντι σύγγνωθι, μὴ τήρει ἀπηνείαν | |
οἱ τούτῳ πάντες τοιγαροῦν θέλοντες ἐκμανθάνειν, | |
ἐξήγησιν νοείτωσαν ὁμοῦ σὺν τῷ κειμένῳ, | |
καὶ μὴ ζητείτωσαν εὑρεῖν τὸ κείμενον ἐν ἄλλῳ. |
