	Πύλην ἀπλανῆ τῆς γραφῆς ὃς ἂν θέλη
	ὀρθῶς διελθεῖν καὶ συναρυθμώμενος
	πάντων ἀκριβῶς τῶν ἐμοὶ γινωσκέτω
	ἐξ ὧν ἀμέμπτως εἴσεται κρίνειν λόγον.
	Πτῶσιν ἀριθμῶν εἶδος σχῆμα καὶ γένος
	σοφῶ λογισμῶ τοιγαροῦν προσερχέσθω
	καὶ παιδοτρίβην κάραν ὑποκλινέτω
	οὕτω γὰρ δρέψεται καλῶν πάντων ἄκρον.
