	ὣς ἂν βλέποντες οἱ νέοι καθημέραν
	(καὶ) νοῦν ἐπερείδοντες αὐτ(οῖς) ἐμφρόν(ως),
	τὸ κάλλος ἐκπλήττοιντο τῶν νοημάτων
	καὶ τ(ὴν) ταχίστ(ην) συμπλοκήν τε (καὶ) θέσ(ιν)
	ἀλλ᾽ ὦ πολὺ τλα (καὶ) πλανήτα (καὶ) γέρον,
	ὁδοὺς ὁ πολλὰς ἐκδραμὼν μακροῦ βίου.
	πόλεις τε πλείστας εἰσιδὼν ἀνδρῶν νό(ον)
	ὁ γν(οὺς) μαθών τε τῶν φρεν(ῶν) ἐμπειρία·
	εἰ δὴ γε τὸν σὸν εἰς ἅδην ἐπαινέτ(ην)
