In the left margin of the epigram the following note is written in red ink: "κρεῖττον γράφ(ειν) | τοῦτο ἐν τῶ εἰς | τ(ὸν) οἰδίπουδα | σοφοκλέους | δράματι, ἢ | ὧδε:". |

The epigram, preceding Euripides' Phoenissae, is preceded, on f. 84v-85r, by a prose hypothesis and three other epigrams and followed by another prose hypothesis and the list of dramatis personae. |
