Palaeographical information The verses are written by the librarian of Hagios Sabas, copying the ancient epigram that was probably written by the main scribe, Andreas. Papadopoulos-Kerameus (1894: 287): "τοῦτο μέντοι τὸ φύλλον ὑπὸ Σαβαΐτου μοναχοῦ προσετέθη, πιθανῶς δὲ τοῦ Ἰωαννικίου, ἔτει 1778-ῳ, ἀναπληρώσεως ἕνεκεν ἑνὸς μόνου φύλλου τοῦ τεύχους, ὅπερ ἢ διεφθαρμένον ἦν τῷ τότε, ἢ κατεσχισμένον."
