καὶ τοκάδων αἰγῶν αἰπόλε μηκάδων
τὰς ἑλικωνιτίδες βοτάναι θρέψαν καλλίστ(ως)·
οὐ περὶ μάνδραν ἔδυν τεὴν ἀλλὰ σποράδ(ας)
ἐξ ὀρέων συνέλεξα καὶ ἐσμίαν ἤγαγον μάνδραν
βωκολικὰς μοίσας αἳ γέννημα σέθεν
οὐ πλείωνον δ' ἐπέτυχον ἐπεί γε μόλις (καὶ) τῶνδε. +
