καὶ κοιλίαν δάμαζε, καὶ γλῶτταν πλέον·
καὶ τὴν στενὴν δίωκε τοῦ βίου πύλην·
καὶ φεῦγε κόσμον καὶ τὰ τοῦ κόσμου πάντα·
πλανῶν γὰρ πάντας ὁ τρισάθλιος βίος
γυμνοὺς προπέμπει πρὸς τὸν ᾅδου πυθμένα.
