Ὅστις βούλεται τὸ φῶς ἐκεῖνο βλέψαι:
Ὀφείλει ταῦτα φυλάττειν ἐν καρδία:-
Παθῶν σαρκικ(ῶν) καὶ λογισμ(ῶν) ἀχρεί(ων):
Ὅρκου τε παντ(ὸς) θυμοῦ καὶ ταραχῆς δε:
Καὶ περισπασμοῦ καὶ τ(ῆς) μνησικακί(ας).
Καὶ τὸ μὴ κρῖναι τὸ σύνολ(ον) ἀν(θρώπ)οις:
Εἶναι δὲ αὐτ(ὸν) λογισμ(ὸν) καὶ τὰς φρέν(ας):
Καθαρώτατον σαρκικ(ῶν) μολυσμάτ(ων):
Πρᾶον ταπειν(ὸν) ἡσύχιον ὑπάρχειν:
Καὶ τῆ προσευχῆ σχολάζειν ἀνενδότ(ως):
'Εν πᾶσι τούτοις ἀρχ(ὴν) καὶ τέλ(ος) ἔχ(ειν):
Τὸ κεφάλαιον ἀρετ(ῶν) τὴν ἀγάπ(ην):
