Contextual information The epigram precedes the Gospel of Mark.

This ms. has three poems with the name Dionysios ('Λαμπτὴρ νοητὸς τῆς ὅλης ὑφʹ ἡλίῳ,'; 'Εὐαγγελιστὴς ἐκ τελώνου φωσφόρος'; 'Ψυχῶν ἀκέστωρ εὐσθενὴς καὶ σωμάτων'). Perria (1994: 98) suggests this Dionysios to be the sponsor of the ms. or someone to whom the ms. was dedicated; 'una figura di un certo rilievo'.
Metre(s) Dodecasyllable

Comment This poem has three verses, whereas the other epigrams in this ms. have more. Perria (1994: 97) suspects some verses are missing; 'visto che - a differenza degli altri due - non comprende alcun accenno biografico all'evangelista'.
