Comment Lauxtermann (2003: 354): 'Constantine (VII?), patron, Menologium...as the manuscript dates from the twelfth century, it is not clear whether Constantine VII, VIII, IX is meant. Neither can it be proved that the epigram refers to a pre-Metaphrastic compilation'.
