| Comment | The epigram does not have a recognizable metrical pattern. However, it is composed of three 10-syllable lines, all marked by a caesura after the fifth syllable and by a paroxytone ending. Rhoby (2018: 378): 'die Verwendung dieses Metrums weist ebenfalls in den volkssprachlichen Bereich, da der Zehnsilber in volkssprachlichen rhythmischen Gesängen Anwendung findet.'
