| Comment | Text of Sakkelion (1890: 7) modified by DBBE. The epigram is printed by Sakkelion (1890: 7) as the last part of an epigram inc. Ὦ νοῦς διαυγής, ὦ θεόφθογγον στόμα (Type 4558), but in the manuscript it is actually presented as a separate text. As in the text given by Sakkelion (1890: 7) verse 19 (i.e. verse 4 of this type) has eleven instead of the expected twelve syllables, Kominis (1988:26) added τι, thus making the verse of twelve syllables. |
