	Οὐκ ἐκράτυνε τὸν προφήτην πορφύρα,
	οὐ παγγέραστον στέμμα κ' εὐώδη μύρα,
	ὡς ἡ θεόπνους ᾀσμάτων ἡ πλημμύρα·
	ψαλμὸς γάρ ἐστιν πνευματέμφορος λύρα,
	ἐφ' ᾗ πεποιθὼς πᾶς τις, ὡς ἐπ' ἀγκύρᾳ,
	ἔσται γεγηθὼς τερψιθύμῳ κινύρᾳ.
