Know, O man, that this is a divine instrument
more beautiful-sounding than the Sirens.
It draws the mind to sublimity and to contemplation,
an ineffable, delightful and mystical journey.
It repels and drives away all preoccupations of the passions.
It makes the mind divine and utterly unaffected by sensual pleasure.
