	Ἐν στεναγμοῖς καὶ δάκρυσι παρακαλῶ τοὺς πάντας
	ὑπὲρ ἐμοῦ τοῦ ἀλιτροῦ εὔχεσθαί τε καὶ λέγειν·
	συγχώρησον, συγχώρησον καὶ σύγγνωθι, Χριστέ μου,
	ψυχὴν ἀνδρὸς ἁμαρτωλοῦ τοῦ πλέξαντος τοὺς στίχους
	ὁμοίως καὶ τοῦ γράψαντος Συμεώνι τοῦ θύτου
	τουτὶ δὲ τὸ ψυχοφελὲς βιβλίον οἰκοχεῖρος
	ἁμαρτωλοῦ καὶ ξένου τε ἐκ τῆς ἑῴας αὖθις,
	τοῦ ἀμαθοῦς καὶ ταπεινοῦ τάχα καὶ πατριάρχου,
	ὅπως μὴ φλέξῃ με ποτὲ τὸ πῦρ τὸ τῆς γεένης.
