| ῥυθμίζομαι δὴ καὶ καθιστῶ τὸν βίον· | |
| γένοιτό μοι γοῦν ζῆν ἐπαμφοῖν καὶ πνέειν | |
| καὶ μηδὲν ἀνθρώπινον αὐτῶν προκρίνειν· | |
| στοιχειακῆς γάρ εἰμι τετράδος πλάσις· | |
