	Πόλον ὁ κλείσας ἐνδίκως ὕειν βροτοῖς
	ξενοτροφεῖται χειρὶ τῆς Σαραφθίας·
	τὸν Ἀχαὰβ δὲ τοῖς ἐλέγχοις ἐκπλύν[ω]ν·
	πῦρ ἐκ πόλου κάτεισι τὴν Βάαλ φλέγον·
	δίφρῳ τε λοιπὸν αἰθερόδρομον χάριν
	ἀρθεὶς μαθητῇ τὴν μηλωτὴν προσνέμει.

Translation(s)	He who rightly prevented the heavens from raining upon mortals is hospitably is fed by the hand of the woman of Sarepta. While he castigates Ahab with his censures, fires descends from heaven and burns Baal. He is then lifted in a chariot and grants his hairy garment to his disciple, a gift that traverses the air.
