	Ἀστὴρ φαεινός ἐδείχθης ἐν τοῖς πέρασι,
	καὶ βίβλον τὴν σὴν, ἀνάγουσαν ὡς κλίμακα,
	τοὺς ἀνθρώπους πείθουσαν,
	τῶν ἀγγέλων τὸν βίον μετέρχεσθαι,
	Ἰωάννη πατὴρ ἡμῶν πάνσοφε·
	ἀλλὰ πρέσβευε Χριστῷ τῷ Θεῷ,
	μὴ παύσῃ ὑπὲρ πάντων ἡμῶν.
