Τὸ θεῖον ἦλθε Πνεῦμα τοῖς ἀποστόλοις
πνοῇ βιαίᾳ καὶ πυρὸς θεωρίᾳ
ἕκαστον αὐτῶν συνετίζον εἰς ἄκρον,
τὸν νοῦν ὁπλίζον πρὸς πάλην τῶν δαιμόνων,
γνῶσιν διδάσκον Τριάδος σελασφόρου·
γλώσσαις λαλοῦσιν ἁλιεῖς παραυτίκα
ταῖς τῶν παρόντων ἐθνικῶν ἀθροισμάτων
ὡς Πνεύματος φέροντες ἄρρητον σθένος.
