Critical Notes 1 Ἐν Χρύσῃ Pearson] Χρύσης Cougny
Translation(s) Chryses Minervae aram congestam,
in qua Achaeis oraculo-edictum erat sacrificare, unus
Poeantis noverat filius quondam Herculis familiaris:
quaerens autem eam quomodo navali indicaret exercitui,
percussus ab angue, relictus est aeger in Lemno,
Helenusque Achaeis dixit captum-iri Ilium
Herculis telis, et Achillis filio.
Atqui tela erant-in-manibus Philoctetae unius;
missus autem Ulysses ambos adduxit.
