Τὸν ὅρκον, ὡς πῦρ καὶ τεθηγμένον ξίφος,
ἄνθρωπε, φεῦγε, μὴ μάχαιρα τῆς δίκης
στίλβουσα καὶ τέμνουσα ῥομφαίας πλέον
σφάξῃ, φαγῇ σὲ μέχρις αὐτῶν ὀστέων,
καὶ τὸ φλέγον φλέξῃ σε πῦρ αἰωνίως.
