Εὐστρατίοιο πόνος τάδε πρωτοέδροιο Νικαίης
κρύψιν Ἀριστοτέλους ἀσαφείης ἐξανελίσσων,
τὴν τεκτήνατο κεῖνος Ἀναλυτικῶν ἐνὶ λοίσθῳ
ἔνθα κεν ἀμφὶ μέσου καὶ ὅροιο πνυτὰ διδάσκει,
τόσσου μέχρι προήκων ὄφρ᾽ ἀποδείξει ἐώκει.
