Δῶρον λόγος πᾶς· ἂν δὲ τοῦ Σταγειρίτου
διπλοῦν τὸ δῶρον· ἂν δὲ καὶ τῶν ἐκκρίτων
τριπλοῦν τὸ καλόν· ἂν δὲ πρὸς λόγου φίλον
ἡλικὸν ἐστίν· ἂν δὲ πρὸς φιλούμενον
θαυμαστὸν ὄντως· ἂν δὲ πρὸς κρείττω φύσιν
συμφυὲς ἄγαν· ἂν δὲ πρὸς βασιλέα
τὸ πᾶν συνήχθη τῶν καλῶν καὶ τιμίων.
