Comment | Vassis (2005: 346) attributes the poem to Manuel Philes, based on Lappa-Zizica & Rizou-Kouroupou (1991: 68). Eustratiades (1925: 275) and Skaltsis (2008: 3) mention Galaktion as the author. The poem also occurs in the 16th-century manuscript Athens, Mouseio Benaki, Kuriaze 13 (f. 261v-262r) and the 17th-century manuscript Athos, Mone Megistes Lauras Λ 59. |
