In Oppianum. Non tuum venerandum ego et amabilem librum semiabsolutum exhibui, doctrinae princeps rame, Oppiane celebrate incliti gratia carminis: sed perfeci miratus tuam pulcriloquentiam. |
Comment | = Anth. Gr. Append. ΙΙΙ.140 De Stefani (2014: 392): 'ὦσχε is strange: it probably means κλάδε, or ἔρνος (cf. Nic. Eug. Epithaph. Prodromi 48 ὦ σοφίης κυπάρυττε [Gallavotti 1935, 230]), but it might be corrupted: Papathomopoulos quotes Ludwich's ὄρχαμ' ἐσθλέ. Perhaps ὄρχαμ' ἐσθλῆς. |
