Πρώτου φάους ὢν δεύτερον θεῖον σέλας
τρίτου φωτὸς φώτιζε τὸν τριττὸν ζόφον
καὶ τὴν τετρακτὺν τῶν θυρῶν τὴν πεντάδα,
τὴν μὲν χαλίνου, τὴν δὲ σωφρονῶν δίδου.
Τῆς ἑξάδος γοῦν τὴν διπλῆν ἀταξιαν
μερῶν μελῶν τε μὴ δυσέβδομον θέσιν
πρὸς τάξιν ἰθύνειας ἐν τῷ σῷ σθένει.
