Ὀρεστιάδος εὐτελοῦς ἀξίαν οἰκονόµου,
καὶ διακόνου τῆς αὐτῆς ὀλβίας ἐκκλησίας,
τοὐπώνυμον Κατακαλὼν τὴν κλῆσιν Ἰωάννου,
πόθου κρατίστου πόνημα τῷ θείῳ στεφηφόρῳ
Παλαιολόγῳ τῷ στερρῷ καὶ τῷ χαριτωνύμῳ,
τῷ χάρισι νικήσαντι τῶν θαλασσῶν πελάγη,
τοῦ ποιμενάρχου προσταγαῖς τοῦ θείου τετυγμένον
