Τριφαὲς τρισήλιον ἄγηρον φάος,
σέλας ἀγλαόφωτον τρισυποστάτου
ἑνάδος, οὐσίη τε τῆς μοναρχίας,
ἄφθεγχτον ἀτέκμαρτον μερόπων νόῳ
τρισὶ τοῖς ἀτόμοισγε εἴτ᾽ οὖν προσώποις,
ἡ τὰ ὅλα δήσασα ἐκ τοῦ μὴ ὄντος
παναλκῇ δυνάμει φορέων, ὡς θέλεις,
δερκομένοις ἅπασι, καὶ ἀθεάτοις·
αὐτὸς οὖν τρισάναρχε Θεὲ τῶν θεῶν,
κύριε τῶν κυρίων, ἄναξ ἀνάκτων,
ταῖς λιτῇσιν εὐχαῖς δεσποίνης ἀπειράνδρου
μητρὸς τοῦ ἑνὸς τῆς σῆς ὑπερουσίου
υἱοῦ καὶ λόγου γεννηθέντος ἀφθόρως,
καὶ πάντων καθεξῆς ἀπ᾽ αἰῶνος ἁγίων,
ῥῦσαι ταύτην τὴν ποίμνην ἐκ πάσης τρικυμίας,
καὶ παντοίων πημάτων δυσμενοῦς τοῦ Βελίαρ,
καὶ ἀξίωσον στάσεως δεξιτερινῆς ὁμοῦ
τὸν ποιμένα τῇ ποίμνῃ σὺν τοῖς ἐντευξομένοις,
ἅμα τε τῷ γράψαντι καὶ τῷ τάξαντι ταῦτα.
Πᾶσιν ἀναπτύσσουσι τὴν θείαν πτυκτὴν ταύτην,
ἐκλιπαρεῖται, λιτάζεσθ᾽ ὑπὲρ τούτου
τοῦ προτρεψαμένου τε καὶ ταῦτα γραψαμένου,
καὶ ἀνέσεως τυχεῖν ἐν τῇ φοβερᾷ ἡμέρᾳ.

According to Vassis (2005: 806) and Bandini (1764: 390), this epigram consists of 28 verses. The last five verses, however, constitute a separate poem (type 5237).
