| εἰς ἐξίλασμα τῶν ἐμῶν ἁμαρτάδων, | |
| εἰς ἐργασίαν σῶν καλῶν προταγμάτων· | |
| εἰ θέλετε, μέροπες, μαθεῖν ὁ ξύσας, | |
| ἅπαντες οἱ δέρκοντες τὴν βίβλον ταύτην, | |
| Γεώργιος κέκλημαι ἀλλὰ καὶ θύτης, | |
| ὅστις τοῦ πίκλην ὁ Κοτύλης τυγχάνω· | |
| διὰ συνδρομῆς καὶ ἐξόδου γεγόνη | |
| τὸ παρὸν εὐαγγέλιον πόνῳ καὶ μόχθῳ· | |
| πεπλήρωτο δὲ ἐν χρόνοις τοῖς τοῦ κόσμου, | |
| χιλιὰς παρέδραμεν ἐξαπλουμένη | |
| καὶ ἑκατοντὰς ἐννακοσιοστή τε | |
| σαρακοστὴ πέμπτη τε, πᾶσι σὺν τούτοις, | |
| καὶ ἰνδικτιώνης πέντε καὶ δεκάτης, | |
