	Εὕρηκε τέρμα τὸ παρόν μοι πυκτίον
	καὶ παύλαν οὐχ᾽ εὕρηκε χεὶρ ἡ γραφέως,
	μοχθεῖ γὰρ ἀπέραντα φεῦ ἕως πότε,
	ἆρα μέχρις οὗ τάφος αὐτὴν δαμάσει·
	εἰ τοῦτό σοι δέδοκτο, Χριστέ μου λόγε,
	καὶ με προσεκλήρωσας ἐργώδει βίῳ
	τοῦ ζῆν ἀφορμὰς ἐκ τῶν χειρῶν μου ἔχειν,
	στέργων φέρω πλὴν καρδιακῷ τῷ πόνῳ
	ἰσχὺν μόνον μοι τὸ κράτος σου διδότω.
