Bibliography
Comment Might be the same person as Maximos Mazaris (PLP VII.16117), author of the "Journey to Hades", and/or the monk Maximos Mazaris (PLP VII.16122), to whom are attributed several grammatical canons, and/or Manuel Mazaris, who composed a legend of St. Irene (PLP VII.16121), as argued by Lampros (1896). See also ODB (cited above) about Maximos Mazaris (PLP VII.16117).
