Τρωθεὶς ἔρωτος ὀξέσι ψυχοφθόροις
τόξοις κατάκρως Ὑσμινίας καρδίαν,
ἄτακτον ὁρμὴν τῶν παθῶν πείθει νέους
φεύγειν κραταιῶς, ὡς κακῶν παραιτίαν.
Ἔρως ὅσαπερ προξενεῖ βλέπων πάθη,
φεύγειν τὰ τοῦδε κέντρα βουλήθητί μοι.
