| Palaeographical information | Written in alexandrinische Auszeichnungsmajuskel. According to Strzygowski (1899: 55), it is possible that the verse initially read Kosmas' name instead of Maximos: 'daß "Maximos" auf Rasur stehe, geschrieben ohne Gold, bloß mit einer ähnlichen roten Farbe, auf der sonst das Gold sitzt. Dabei ist Maximos sehr gedrängt geschrieben, woraus geschlossen werden kann, daß einst kürzerer Name dagestanden habe.' Rhoby (2018: 406) notices: 'will man Strzygowski folgen, muss angenommen werden, dass hier τοῦ Κοσμᾶ bzw. Κοσμᾶ δέ und nicht bloß Κοσμᾶ gestanden haben muss, da sonst der Zwölfsilber um eine Silbe zu kurz wäre.' |
