Contextual information | This epigram follows a declaration of assent to the synodic Tomos of 1341, condemning Barlaam. It is the last one in a series of three in honour of St James 'the Lord's brother' whose commemoration day is 23rd of October. The declaration was signed on the very day of 23rd of October. |
