| Comment | Turyn (1972: 97): "There is the possibility to be kept in mind that the above political colophon in Vatic. graec. 2111 was transcribed from the exemplar copied by the scribe. While the identity of the scribe of both mss., Grottaferrata Γ.α.I and Vatic. graec. 2111, is certain, it still remains somewhat doubtful whether the colophon was primary and authentic and whether the scribe's name really was Ἰωσὴφ μελενδύτης". |
