This poem is the third in a series of three epigrams, written at the end of the Iliad. All three epigrams are also to be found in the Anthologia Palatina (AP XVI.29, XVI.4 and IX.387). Hardt (1806: 19) distinguishes only two, by merging the first and the second epigram into one poem. |
