Τοὺς σοὺς ἀφράστους καὶ παναρρήτ(ους) λόγ(ους),
ὦ τρισμέγιστε στύλε τῆς ἐκκλησίας,
οὓς ἐξελέξω σύντομον δείξας τόμον,
πιστῶν μὲν εἰς ἔλλαμψιν εἰς φρυκτωρίαν,
κακοφρόνων δὲ πρὸς σκώτωσιν καὶ λύγην,
εἰς ἓν συνῆξα βίβλον εὐκλεεστάτην:
γράψας ἀκριβῶς τεχνικ(εῖς) ἐμπειρίαις:
ὅπως δαδουχῆς καρδίας μου τὰς κόρας:
τρανῶς διαρθροῦν καὶ νοεῖν τε καὶ λέγ(ειν):
καὶ μανθάνειν τάχιστα τούτων τὰς λύσεις:
