Ὦ νοῦς διαυγής ὦ θεόφθογγόν στόμα,
ὦ παῦλε μύστα τῶν ἀποκρύφων λόγων:
τῶν σῶν ἐρῶν τις πανσόφων διδαγμάτων
ποθεῖ τὸ κάλλος τῆς ἄνω θεωρίας·
οὕτως ἔδειξε βασίλειος προσφόρως·
πανευκλεὴς καὶ πρῶτος ἐν νοταρίοις.
ὑπὲρ γὰρ ἄλλου κτήματος τῶν τιμίων·
χρυσοῦ τε παντὸς σηρικῶν τὲ νημάτων·
καὶ στιλπνότητος ἀνθράκων καὶ μαργάρων·
τούτων ἀγασθεὶς τὴν ἀοίδιμον χάριν·
εἰς ἓν συνῆψε πυκτίον θεοφρόνως·
ἀλλʹ αὐτὸς αὐτῶ ταῖς λιταῖς σου παμμάκαρ
Γενοῦ συνεργὸς σύμμαχος καὶ προστάτης·
ἐν τῆ παρούση τοῦ βίου μοχθηρία·
καὶ τῆ δικαία τοῦ κριτοῦ παρουσία·
