Comment Kavrus-Hoffmann - Alvarez (2021: 86): 'The manuscript was commissioned by a couple, husband and wife, whose names are thoroughly erased and illegible in the colophon. The couple donated the manuscript to the church of Hyperagia Teotokos of Bounitissa (possibly Vonitsa/Bonditsa south of Arta, a city in Epiros), which they helped restore.'
