Hardt (1937: 467) and Ehrhard (1939: 1029) date the manuscript to the 15th century, while Molin Pradel (2013: 185) and Parpulov (2021: 37) date it to the 16th century.

Molin Pradel (2013: 190-191): the manuscript can be devided into five parts. The first one (ff. 1r-44v) was written by the scribe "C Probatares", the second (ff. 45r-263v) and third (ff. 264r-292v) ones by Μιχαὴλ Μαλέας, the fourth one (ff. 293r-345r, 346r-360v) by the "scribe εξ", and the fifth one (ff. 361r-399v) by Bartholomeus Zanettus.
