The manuscript is a palimpsest: the scriptio inferior dates to the 11th century and contains homilies of John Chrysostom; the scriptio superior, which belongs to the beginning of the 14th century, transmits Homer's Iliad (Ξ.289 - Π.305 are omitted).
This manuscript served as a model for the collection of hypotheses for the 24 books of the Iliad in ms. Neap. II C 32. |
