SEVCENKO (1990, 107): 'A monk Symeon wrote a January Menologion, Patmos 245, in the year 1057; this menologion is without illustration but has many points in common with the Stauronikita manuscript in its script and ornament. However, the two are, in my view, not quite similar enough to be assigned to the same edition'. |
