Harlfinger (1983: 39) situates the provenance of the ms. in Constantinople, based on the type of writing.
Lucà (1985: 159) says the manuscript is written in 'stile di Rossano' (cf. also Lucà (1991: 126 n. 54) and Lucà (1993: 208)).
Foti (1991: 112 n. 102) situates the provenance of the ms. in Messina, because of Antonio Carissimo's signature.
